David Phoenix
Dark Minimal & Psytech DJ/Producer
David Phoenix is the artist alias of David Janecska, a DJ, producer, and label founder based in Vienna. His work moves between dark minimal, minimal techno, and psytech with a focus on driving grooves, controlled tension, and psychedelic sound design.
Dark pressure. Precise movement.
Born in Hungary and based in Vienna, David began experimenting with electronic music production in 2003. The David Phoenix project emerged in 2019 and developed into a distinct meeting point between stripped-back techno mechanics and psychedelic detail.
The result is functional club music with an inward pull: steady momentum, industrial textures, and sound design that rewards close listening without losing the dancefloor.
